Jolene Batarick, M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor

Jolene specializes in treating eating disorders and is certified in intuitive therapy for eating disorders, which draws on mindfulness, DBT and CBT. In addition, she specializes in treating grief and loss, pain reduction, and trauma. She also works well with those experiencing depression, anxiety, and life changes, and has experience working with those who struggle with substance abuse. Jolene has experience with individual, group, and family therapy, and utilizes creative therapies when indicated, such as play, art, music, and mindfulness. Jolene holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She is a professional member of the American Counseling Association and continues to educate herself to keep up with current research and the latest therapeutic techniques.

Jolene strives to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can express themselves. She believes that compassion, empathy and patience are needed with all patients. Jolene has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents and understands the necessity of listening in order to help most effectively. Jolene has a genuine concern for her patients and their pain, and has the knowledge and experience to help them establish new coping skills and behavior patterns.
