Deja Holloway, M.A., LAPC

Deja’s Approach to Treatment

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready to make a change, Deja Holloway offers a compassionate, grounded approach to help you move forward. She provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore concerns with confidence and trust. Deja works primarily with adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, substance use concerns, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other stress-related difficulties.

Deja’s approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating other evidence-based methods tailored to each client’s needs. Deja takes a trauma-informed and client-centered approach to treatment, helping you to recognize patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. For clients who value it, she welcomes the incorporation of spirituality into the healing process while always respecting each person’s beliefs and background.

Deja is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with experience in both residential and outpatient settings. She has worked with clients presenting with mood disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and other behavioral health challenges, and has experience providing counseling, group therapy, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and case management. She has a strong clinical interest in deepening her work with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, and focuses primarily on supporting adults and adolescents.

Deja’s goal in every session is to help you feel more understood, more supported, and better able to manage the challenges you’re facing. Whether you are working through anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship stress, or a difficult life transition, she aims to meet you with empathy, respect, and practical guidance. Grounded in CBT and a trauma-informed approach, she works collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence and hope.
