Dianne Michels, M.S., LPC, NCC, CVRT, CLVT, TVI
Dianne works with couples and individuals of all ages and excels at working with people who have anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and PTSD. She believes strongly in a collaborative therapeutic partnership. Her warm and relatable demeanor make her a pleasure to work with. Dianne has experience in trauma informed care and enjoys working with people in all walks of life.
Dianne has been involved in the helping profession since 1980. She has also taught in the Special Education field for three years. She obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Counseling at Chestnut Hill College. Dianne uses a strength-based approach to treatment and provides cognitive-behavioral therapy.
She has 16 years of counseling experience in a Co-Occurring Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Clinic. While there she supervised staff to help achieve licensure. Dianne has established a counseling program in a small nonprofit agency serving disabled adults.
