At our Bethlehem clinic, we know that no two journeys are the same. That’s why we offer personalized therapy for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sleep issues, and more—so you can feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way.
Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, therapy can be a powerful place to pause, reflect, and grow. Amita Saini is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and a grounded sense of direction. She works with people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship struggles, and major life changes using EMDR, CBT and DBT. Many of her clients carry more than they’ve ever shared out loud — stress, grief, shame, fear, or simply the weight of trying to hold everything together. Her goal is to meet clients in that space with real care and respect, helping them move toward lasting change, not just short-term relief.
Amita’s path to becoming a therapist wasn’t linear — and that’s one of her strengths. She started out as an EMT working with Easton Emergency Squad. After several years as a first responder, she decided to go into law, studying the intersection of mental health and justice. Later on she spent years leading operations in real estate development and working as a couples and family mediator. However, a consistent thread throughout her life has been a deep interest in understanding people — how they hurt, how they heal, and how they move forward. That curiosity eventually led her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and shift fully into the work she finds most meaningful today.
In her clinical experience, Amita has supported individuals in both residential and outpatient settings who were working through substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, adjustment to life transitions, and more. She integrates evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT and DBT, and draws from trauma-informed care, internal family systems, and attachment theory to tailor therapy to each person’s needs. She also incorporates harm reduction strategies where appropriate and integrates EMDR into clinical treatment. In addition to traumatic stress, this technique can be used to address addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, phobias, codependency, self-esteem, and for work and educational performance enhancement.
Clients often tell her they feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported in their work together. Her goal is to create a space that feels both safe and purposeful — where they can explore what’s holding them back, reconnect with their inner resilience, and build toward the life they want to live.
Amita currently practices under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and professional counselor, as she continues to grow and deepen her skills as a clinician.
