Deja’s Approach to Treatment

If youโ€™re feeling stuck and need a change, Deja Holloway offers a compassionate, grounded approach to help you move forward. As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with experience in both residential and outpatient settings, she works primarily with adults and adolescents, helping clients navigate challenges related to Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Trauma, Substance use, Self-esteem, Relationship concerns, and Life transitions.

Her overall approach to treatment is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating other evidence-based methods tailored to your specific needs. Deja takes a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, providing a safe, supportive, space to explore your concerns, recognize patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. She believes in working collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Deja specializes in working with:

ย

  • Anxiety and stress-related difficulties
  • Depression and other mood disorders
  • PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
  • Substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Relationship concerns
  • Life transitions and adjustment difficulties

Deja has experience providing individual counseling, group therapy, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and case management across residential and outpatient behavioral health settings. Her clinical interests include deepening her work with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. While CBT serves as the foundation of her treatment approach, she incorporates additional evidence-based strategies to meet each client’s individual needs. For clients who value it, Deja also welcomes the incorporation of spirituality into the healing process while respecting each person’s beliefs and background.

Deja’s goal is to help clients feel more understood, supported, and confident in their ability to manage life’s challenges. Whether you are working through trauma, emotional difficulties, substance use concerns, or a challenging transition, she strives to provide the empathy, respect, and practical guidance needed to move forward with greater confidence and hope.
