Jolene Dalton’s Approach to Treatment

Your therapy should be as individualized as you are! Jolene has experience with individual, group, and family therapy, and utilizes creative approaches when indicated, such as mindfulness, art, music, play, DBT and CBT. While Jolene works with clients from all walks of life, her specialties include eating disorders, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain, life changes, depression, anxiety and substance use. She is certified in intuitive therapy for eating disorders, which draws on mindfulness, DBT and CBT. 

Jolene holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She is a professional member of the American Counseling Association and continues to educate herself to keep up with current research and the latest therapeutic techniques.

Jolene strives to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can express themselves. She believes that compassion, empathy and patience are needed with all patients. Jolene has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents and understands the necessity of listening in order to help most effectively. Jolene has a genuine concern for her patients and their pain, and has the knowledge and experience to help them establish new coping skills and behavior patterns.
