With over two decades of experience in mental health—including therapy, teaching, program development, and national speaking—Brandon works with individuals, couples, and families to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. He works well with anxiety, bipolar, severe depression, trauma, career stress, life transitions, substance use, identity-related concerns, LGBTQ individuals and personality disorders.

His overall approach to treatment is offering clients an opportunity to learn without judgement. He will lead you in challenging the tendency to stay stuck and comfortable, as well as committing to growth, change, empowerment and, overall, an increase in self-worth. Brandon specializes in working with:

Mr. Sands has worked in several settings in the mental health field for over two decades, including outpatient psychotherapy and working as a certified Applied Behavioral Analyst. He is a nationally recognized expert in forensic mental health, having developed and led the Berks County Forensic Diversion Program for nearly two decades. Along with his work in the psycho-forensics field, Mr. Sands has worked as an adjunct professor of psychology at Alvernia University for the past 21 years.
