Kimberley has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. She specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Adolescent Issues, Life Transitions, Postpartum Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bereavement/Grief, and Anger Management. Her approach is empathetic, genuine, and honest, and she takes the whole person into consideration in order to foster growth and healing. She uses evidence-based techniques to empower clients to heal from the past and move toward a brighter future; one with less distress and more self-acceptance, clarity and joy.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ramapo College of New Jersey in the late 90’s, Kimberley entered the mental health field in an agency setting, helping various types of individuals and families in crisis. After completing her master’s degree in social work from Marywood University, she moved to the outpatient, private practice setting in 2001, working with individuals, families, and groups as a psychotherapist and gravitating more toward one-on-one treatment.
“My goal is to empower, uplift and support clients in the healing process. I believe in a team approach and focus on a partnership in healing that will begin in the first session. I encourage clients to get in touch with their true values that are motivating them for change and to turn these into achievable goals. Together, we will work to develop the skills and strategies to meet these goals.”
